蛋白组学研究中心是福建农林大学的二级研究中心（简称林学中心），成立于2014年5月14日。林学中心以蛋白质组学、遗传组与表观遗传组学、以及分子遗传学等研 究手段对模式植物以及福建省主要林木树种进行基础分子生物学研究。本中心亦致力于福建省主要农林作物生物技术的研究开发。根据学校授权，本中心实行开放、流动、联合、竞争的运行机制以及学术委员会领导下的PI负责制。目前本中心有全职教授6人，副教授5人，讲师3人，博士后3人，工作人员16人，研究生106人。林学中心计划在数年内建成具有国际一流科研平台与百人以上研究团队的植物科学研究中心。

BFPC was established by FAFU in 2014.  It will focus on studying plant proteomics of both model organisms and forestry species.  Its present research areas include: (1)  the proteomic compositions, post-translational modifications, and epigenetic studies of the general transcription machinery in the model plants Arabidopsis thaliana;  (2) the proteomics and molecular genetics study of light and hormonl regulation of plant growth and development of Arabidopsis,  rice ( Oryza sativa), bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis), China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata), and tea (Camellia sinensis );  (3) the genetic mechanisms and biotechnological applications of horizontal gene and genome transfer.
